Dana Albert

I am a commercial executive with proven expertise in strategic marketing, drug development and commercial analytics. My experience includes:

• Developing commercial insights at all stages of drug development from discovery through life cycle management and across many therapeutic areas
• Establishing and building the Decision Support and NPP teams at Cubist Pharmaceuticals
• Planning and directing analysis that drove the most successful launch of an IV antibiotic in US history
• Accurately forecasting launch and later year sales based on targeted market research

Years at a rapidly growing, resource-constrained company taught me how to support emerging biotechs. I am able to focus efficiently on need-to-know information and iteratively deepen analyses when required. This work gives me the chance to collaborate with people in R&D, Regulatory, Clinical and other functional areas to make the most of product opportunities and bring important therapies to patients.

I have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Dartmouth College and a master’s in management from the Sloan School at MIT.
